Individual Therapy
Psychotherapy offers a unique kind of relationship and a space for curiosity and exploration in order to better understand ourselves through thoughtful reflection and meaning making. With adults, therapy can help make sense of our personal histories and contextualize our experiences to develop greater agency over life.
Therapy with children and adolescents is most effective when parents or caregivers are engaged in the process. This collaboration supports a shared understanding of the child’s experience and reinforces the work taking place in therapy. Sessions with parents and caregivers also provide support for the various challenges that accompany parenting.
Couples Therapy
Couples therapy provides a structured and reflective environment to deepen understanding, improve communication, and work through recurring patterns of conflict or distance. Together, we examine the emotional dynamics that underlie conflict, fostering connection and resilience within the relationship. Couples therapy offers the valuable opportunity to work with dynamics as they actively emerge in sessions rather than simply talking about them after the fact.
I work with couples of diverse backgrounds and identities, including those navigating intercultural relationships, parenting transitions, or issues of trust, communication, and intimacy.
Consultation & Supervision
I provide supervision and consultation to early-career clinicians who are interested in strengthening their understanding and application of relational psychodynamic principles, with a focus on reflective practice, working with countertransference, and the development of an authentic therapeutic approach.
Supervision and consultation is available for associate marriage and family therapists, psychological associates, and licensed clinicians seeking consultation on psychodynamic practice, working relationally with trauma, or deepening a multicultural framework.
